As a pastor’s kid, I remember my dad going off to what I thought was another church service to preach. However, it was a conference. Why does a pastor have to go to a conference? Does he have to learn how to be a pastor? The answer is that my dad went to get refueled. He went to be encouraged by other pastors and just take the time to listen to what God had to tell him. In doing this, he was able to come back to his church and stand behind the pulpit and speak with enthusiasm.

As a coach, you have gone into this profession because you feel that you can help people. You feel that you have ways to encourage them to follow their dreams. However, you must remember that for you to help others, you must be rejuvenated yourself.

How do you get rejuvenated?

I encourage you to spend sometime on yourself today. Take the time to pray, read your bible and meditate, and/or even reach and talk with your pastor or others that can give you that encouragement that you may need.

You must refuel to be able to fuel other.
